It wasn’t the trophies that made me love Ronaldo, it was his style of play and his mentality. From the moment I became a fan, I stood by him. For me, it’s about loyalty, once I choose, I stay loyal. There’s a reason no one cares if Messi wins five World Cups. His career will always be associated with controversy, robbery, and heavy support from FIFA. Even if he wins the World Cup again, it doesn’t change the fact that, many of his trophies came amid controversial decisions and too much help from FIFA. In my opinion, he’s not the greatest footballer of all time. Ronaldo always has been, and always will be.

That said, you just can’t sit as deep as England did, offer nothing going forward, invite an endless stream of crosses, and then fail to defend said crosses. It’s suicidal. Spain are the ONE team in the world capable of matching Argentina technically, sustaining front foot pressure, keeping the ball for long periods, and physically dominating that midfield. Should be a brilliant final.
