@HughAkston0 @InternetH0F After 1 week it’s not even weight. It takes at least 6 weeks for the uterus to shrink back down and stop bleeding 🩸. After 2-3 months you can see what ‘weight’ you’re left with that you need to lose. In her case she just needs to lose the whole man.

@SmirkingDamsel I saw a video of an American making what she called “sausage rolls”. She cooked up sausage meat in some kind of milk sauce. Then rolled it up in bread dough, then sliced it like cinnamon rolls and baked it. Looked horrific.

I just sent a photo of the sausage rolls I made today to a lovely American guy I’m talking to…. He replied… “I don’t think I’ve ever had a sausage roll 😳” Wait, WHAT?!? Do Americans not eat sausage rolls?!

@QuestionPDX @SmirkingDamsel Our sausage rolls (and sausage meat) are generally just pork with some filler like breadcrumbs, spices and herbs. No organy bits. Unless you buy extremely cheap, low quality sausage rolls/meat.

@SmirkingDamsel We have them at Brit-import specialty stores, but most non-immigrant Americans (including myself) won't eat the organ-y kind of sausage that you Brits put in there. We're a no-organy-bits bunch.

It follows the story of Elizabeth Woodville, Cecily’s daughter in law. My 11yo really liked it & definitely got her interested

@JasonMac2022 The oncologist will go through everything with you. My dad was told they had removed all the cancer but was told he had a 10% chance of cancer returning without immunotherapy. In the 3 month wait between the op and starting therapy it had already returned. Thankfully…

There are a tiny number of places that offer it for Hysteroscopy but for most women it’s ibuprofen or a GA - there’s nothing in between

@rheumipainmask @Northernlurker1 My partner had both a colonoscopy and a cystoscopy done and was not offered sedation for either. Not sure if he could have asked for it but it wasn’t offered as an option. He was just told to take ibuprofen/paracetamol before coming in.

@Northernlurker1 It is an option for all other endoscopies- patient can choose to decline sedation/GA but it’s available OPH is removing the option of sedation/GA (or making it a very difficult or late option) Pain during hysteroscopy is much more common than not so removing the option isn’t ok

I hadn’t realised that Hysteroscopy is done w/o GA/sedation in NHS with advice to take Ibuprofen prior to an excruciating invasive procedure Who signed off to this “medical” torture of women? Why aren’t all NHS Gynaecologists up in arms about this? #WomenAreHumansToo

Sedation, offered for virtually all other -oscopies is not offered as @RCObsGyn says it’s unnecessary and presumably thinks women should just suffer
