@Saar______ Kind of similar. We were friends at that age and before then. Then I left school but I often thought about him. Then we met up again and it was great, but after that nothing. :(

It’s such a horrible feeling when an old friend just completely cuts you out there life and you don’t understand why. Over a year now but I hate to say I’m still not ‘over it.’

Otherwise you’re just doing what governments want, making it a personal responsibility - when it’s like saying don’t breath in smoke in a burning building. Covid is here to stay, further precautions like air filters (along with mandatory masks etc) are needed BUT SO IS RESEARCH.

Please can we stop pushing the idea that it’s an individual fault if one gets COVID? It’s very difficult NOT to catch even with the best precautions. Instead of saying ‘you don’t want covid you might get #LongCovid’ - can we say, ‘Please research long covid’.

@maosbot I hope that research into treatments will be carried out promptly! We all deserve it, there’s too many suffering.

@maosbot Basic precautions yes, but it’s silly now to act like that’s enough. What we need in research into long covid in my opinion - covid isn’t going away, and the current situation isn’t good enough for sure, we’ve got to find a to work this out (ie, treat long COVID)

@maosbot Look I’ve got long covid but this viewpoint doesn’t do it for me. I cared about long covid, I did everything I could - this mainly isn’t an individual fault in my opinion. Even the most careful are catching this, and it’s up to governments to try to sort things out.

@ChloeBellerbyMH This is true for me and Long Covid. The fact that I never feel ‘a bit better’ for long and even then it’s still really really rubbish.

The hardest part of healing is taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Healing requires constant work, constant perseverance… you have to commit to the process EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

@ItsEmilyKaty I’ve always worked so hard but it probably looks 5 to 10 times less than an NT, when in fact to me it feels I’ve worked myself so hard I’ve hurt myself, unintentionally.

@ItsEmilyKaty It’s quite literally a reason (I think) that I am now severely ill - PLEASE look after yourself. You are disabled, you’ve got to accept your limits, and that is okay. 🥺💜

Dear neurodivergent people, stop comparing yourself to people with neurotypical brains. It will make you feel bad about yourself. Your brain works differently, and that’s okay. You will find ways that work for you, in time. 🤍

@Not_Recovered This is me, it’s very hard but I’d urge other sufferers don’t give up. Give it plenty of time and consider trying things like adjusting your diet / fasting, radical rest, anti histamines - and if you’re heart is racing and more, look into POTS as treating that could help. 💜

„I’ve had #LongCovid since March 2022. I’ve been ill for six months and bedridden for 4 months. I can’t watch TV, listen to music, read and I am noise and light sensitive. I am #NotRecovered. There is no help! - @CraftyJas
