Sometimes life can be a bit much, can’t it? It’s great that programmes like ‘Detectorists’ are commissioned because they’re beautiful, calming and centring and help when things are tough. I love that there’s still space for gentle TV

I’ve had an excellent day in London for work and happened to buy this book, which is absolutely sublime. I also had an impromptu and fantastic conversation with a Northern Irish lawyer after she saw me reading it. My tip of the week: read this book!

@StarlingBank Madly high credit rating, no large borrowing, other savings accounts. Money in their bank account and apparently I can’t open a savings account that’s half the interest rate of another one I have. Not able to say why either. Well that money’s going to be moved 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've left my 'to-do list' pad at home and that's my emotional support 'to-do list' pad ☹️

Been a week of absolute yuckiness (was even off work 🤢😱). Starting to feel slightly better now.

A back for the day from uni. Arrived with washing and an empty treats box. It was filled with banana muffins last time. Flat mates reminded her to take the ‘green tub’ home - all looking very hopeful when they said it. Currently being filled with 3 dozen cookies, ready to go back
