If that is the case though, I do think cutting it would indeed be a sign that the ending it meant to be read as ambiguous.

@Goose67953615 @MelloYellowMara @Ryanthewigjig No, I think they're right. If the message was about the gang forgiving them, then it bring to question why the good ending omits their reactions to Sunny's confession. It is meant to be ambiguous on whether or not they do forgive Sunny.

What matters is that Sunny was able to confront the truth, forgive himself, and is now finally capable of moving on. That just because he did a bad thing, does not make him a bad person.

Funimation as a brand is gone, but its legacy will continue to live on through simuldubs. The Space Dandy dub premiering before the sub in Japan sparked a change in the dub industry that's going on to this day of seasonal anime being dubbed at the same time as subs. Much respect
