18.5 miles over the moors at the Five Trigs event this morning. Plenty of mud and the usual post race feed. Was supposed to be saving the legs for Fridays M2L event, but I love these local races too much to miss out 🥰

@nuddypants @Gazitude It is a point to point route. But you have to keep to public right of ways, permissive paths and tracks. No crossing moorlands without being on a path. The map shows the recommended route....but it may not be the quickest route

Yesterday was a 26 mile battle across the moors. The Saddleworth Ten Res event has 4200ft of elevation over terrain which zaps your legs.
