@TaylorinAZ5 Precisely why I sold and moved to northern AZ. I spent 52 years in the valley and I can confirm it is hotter for much longer, little to no monsoon activity and way too congested nowadays. Not the paradise I grew up in. Oh well, northern AZ is still good enough to keep me here.

I don’t want to be that Arizonan whose entire personality is talking about how hot it is, but 110 is too much too soon.

@EricSpracklen Not likely when 40% of homeowners have no mortgage and 52% of homeowners with a mortgage have a rate lower than 4%. This is just wishful thinking. There will be certain areas where values will plummet but this is not a nationwide issue.

The housing market crash that’s coming is going to be devastating for so many recent buyers. It’s completely unavoidable at this point. Just a matter of time.

@XFreeze Perhaps if Americans turned back to God and prioritized God, family and country over profit margins then maybe young Americans would restart the baby factories.

@JulieChangRE You’re not alone. I sold after 12 years in Scottsdale. The city is amazing. Venues and restaurants second to none. Insane nightlife. And it’s beautiful to boot. But the heat, especially in the last decade is no joke. I stayed in AZ but moved up north to get some elevation.

Am I the only person who thinks it’s insane to spend this in Scottsdale where it’s heat stroke temps for 1/3rd of the year or more

@adamtaggart At 52 with no job, no pension, no SS and just a small VA disability I freak out everyday. Roughly 2.7 million in investments and my home is owned free and clear. No payments of any kind. Doesn’t feel like enough to me. I live on 3k a month but my life is completely boring.

At what net worth (including the home equity in your primary residence) would you stop worrying about "not having enough money" to last the rest of your life?

@SarahHuckabee It’s just a matter of time before millions more homes flood the market. Rising insurance, property taxes, home repairs, car payments and insurance, food, healthcare, etc is going to lead to folks giving up home ownership.

When my children’s generation are buried in credit card debt, student loan debt, can’t afford rent, can’t afford car insurance, health insurance, and feel like they will never be able to afford to buy a home, Yes.
