On my way to @SalfordCityFC to watch tonight’s huge game v @bromleyfc … what an occasion this should be. Any pubs locally recommend for a neutral ?
English

@stayEminent Surely your maths isn’t that bad ? I’d they gain 12 points, in four games. Can they catch West Ham who are 13 points in front ?
English

But how are they relegated when they're 11 points behind Tottenham ?
What if they win all their remaining 4 matches (12 points) and spurs lose theirs

On my way to @SalfordCityFC to watch tonight’s huge game v @bromleyfc … what an occasion this should be. Hope this doesn’t disappoint
English

@DaioGoddard Have a good night celebrating it David. Looks like he’s ready for it
English

@Si1927 @DaioGoddard Be a great for the club to expose the kids. Good luck tonight and to have that amount of Welsh players is really impressive
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 @DaioGoddard That wasnt what was said tho
I just gave you a Welsh XI of Academy players whove been in the 1st Team at some point this season.
To answer your question though i think its more maybe last game of season type side in fairness NOR do I think the manager will play a side like this

@Si1927 @DaioGoddard As a serious question. You as a fan would field this team in league one in your last three games ?
English

@DaioGoddard @Si1927 Don’t make a comment if you can’t back it up.
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 @Si1927 A Welsh starting 11 isn’t as drastic as you’re making out
English

@Si1927 @DaioGoddard Difference is they are no longer in the academy, classed as first team. How many of them are Welsh? As Mr Goddard wanted a starting 11
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 @DaioGoddard We've played 7-8 academy lads all season though?
Majority of our squads have contained 6-8 academy lads and several others early 20s since 1st game. So whats the difference?
English

@DaioGoddard I know I’m probably boring you, but I’m involved in talent development and scouting for a well known agency. Just like to see dans perspective on academy players playing up. Your tweet caught my attention.
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 Silly way of looking at it due to players in first team squad within age bracket and also a fair few out on loan
English

@DaioGoddard Hypothetical scenario - you name 11 Welsh boys. Obviously majority would need to be 21/18’s. You’re losing 4-0 HT. Fan base, how many would stay in to watch whole game and support, or leave and demolish them mentally
English

@DaioGoddard Give me a starting 11 all Welsh that could happen? And as a fan, you’d be happy?
Hey I don’t support neither do I dislike Cardiff, but I think it’s you looking at it in a silly way
English

@DaioGoddard And have people judge them on that game? I would say 3-4 in match day squad is more of a sensible approach. I see Cardiff has a talented pool. But where have they finished in respective 21/18’s league. Put them in football league 1?
English

@DaioGoddard It’s just in the interest of fairness in competitive football. Should your / anyone’s club play a game littered with academy players against a team of experienced football league club, look at it two ways. Would you be happy watching 7-8 academy lads take a hammering.
English

@DaioGoddard In this situation David, secured promotion to championship would be ideal, but other clubs would benefit from a weakened opponent, that’s what would happen and along with that each place in the league depicts how much they gain so still money at stake and all clubs need it.
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 It doesn’t matter who it is it’s just great seeing it. I’m not saying that should be the starting 11 because that would be stupid but how amazing would it be for the club to do it in a league game once this season
English

@MatthewBidder3 That’s quite funny, next season is going to be very interesting with the 3 Welsh clubs pride at stake. Should Wrexham fail to gain promotion
English

What?? Thought Cardiff won it in October.
Did they have a points deduction?

@Cymru Let’s hope for a stronger group of results he’s managed at under 17’s group stages as a collective, make the right choices not based on who plays for what club. Good luck and looking forward to it 🏴
