Recently, I proposed legislation to eliminate the fee to apply for a firearms permit. Unfortunately, House Democrats voted down this common sense legislation, requiring that Connecticut's law-abiding citizens are still required to pay a fee to exercise this Constitutional Right.

@DonnaAncestor There is rarely such a removal process. Some states have the "power of recall." Connecticut doesn't have it as the "Majority Party" (code word for Democrats) won't bring the matter to a vote. They say that the recall power is vested in biannual elections.
