@darrenhayman Is Grant Green too jazz noodly? Maybe try William Tyler for something recent - nicely restrained instrumental Americana.

Has anybody got suggestions for instrumental guitar music? I’m Imagining something that doesn’t seem to quite exist. No noodling, I need tunes no virtuoso. The closest I can think of is Michael Rother. Tracks or albums welcome.

A fine night @BFI for the Starve Acre preview. I love the book, it got me out of a reader's block a while ago. The film is a handsome folk horror homage, great leads and incredible puppetry to bring Jack Grey to life!
