@BobPagesports @BallySportsFL @FlaPanthers You can beef. It’s Sports for heaven sakes!! Wouldn’t be as fun without some beef. Obvious call/viewpoint cant be missed. This was one of them. Puck right there, 2 players, down low Ref not screened, no-Brainer call. I’d ask him: “What reason did you have for not calling that?”

@CraigMinervini @BallySportsFL @FlaPanthers Too many blown calls going on in every sport now, Craiger! We need MORE replays & challenges - not fewer. The NFL finally has rapid replays where an obvious missed call is quickly overturned from NY headquarters. Would that work in the NHL too? They should at least try it.

I’ll say this. I think the @NHL Officiating Crews do a great job managing a tough game. Often, a game of judgment. But the Toronto game and this couldn’t be-more-obvious non-call on Matheson?: Staggering.
Having said that, Cats did get 8 PPs in MTL gm, so maybe Make-up in play.

@FrankJForte @BallySportsFL @FlaPanthers Absolutely..Look, we both know Matheson, and he’s one of the nicer guys you’d ever meet. But he rarely threw a Bodycheck here and he totally caught Staal, who was 8 feet behind the puck, with that vicious, unexpected check.
