Another update on my pistol project. I redesigned the trigger and trigger bar. The trigger itself is based on the Zastava M2022, a prototype modernized Tokarev pistol. The trigger bar is a different story; its flat spring shape is taken from early 20th century pocket pistols.

@haruka_no_yume As much as I like Akira, it's got nothing on Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, the very first anime I watched in my life.

🇯🇵 Growing up, I'd never actually watched/read Akira until my sibling forced me to. However, I always thought some of the fanart with Kaneda's bike was very cool.

@haruka_no_yume This looks like something you'd see in sci-fi films like Blade Runner and The Fifth Element.

🇯🇵 Someone made a video from the first car of the Yurikamome train in Tokyo. He then flipped it upside down and it looks almost unreal. Amazing.

@CristianSabarre If that picture was taken this spring, oh boy. That visitor is going to suffer lol. Having been to the Philippines before, winter alone is scalding hot.

Dude... Why would you make that analogy? You need the Buddha. Not Jesus; the Buddha. You really do.

@SandyofCthulhu Rule of thumb regarding the vandalism of Japanese religious sites: Assume the vandals are Muslims and/or Sub-Saharan Africans.

@thebencheah Communists targeted Japanese passenger jets too. One member of the Japanese Red Army (a Communist terror group) and several Palestinian Arabs hijacked Japan Air Lines Flight 404. The same Communist who led that hijacking later hijacked Japan Air Lines Flight 472.

Communists came to my country by way of riots, gunfire and explosions. During the 1950s, communists organised strikes and riots, including the Hock Lee Bus Riots of 1955 and the Chinese Middle School Riots of 1956. Communist Indonesia attempted to destroy the Federation of Malaya. Indonesian Marines carried out a campaign of bombings in Singapore, including the Macdonald House bombings. Singapore deployed troops to the mainland to defeat an Indonesian incursion. The Red Terror began on 23 April 1970, when communists planted a bomb at a playground, killing one child and injuring another. The Red Terror would last over a decade. In 1974, communist terrorists carried out Singapore's first act of international terrorism. On 26 March 1991, Singapore encountered its second taste of international terror: the hijacking of Singapore Airlines Flight 117 by Marxist sympathisers. For decades, communists deliberately targeted children, as well as the workers they claimed to represent. I don't hate communists. I know what they have done, and treat them accordingly.

@Viko_9999 This belt-fed machine gun looks oddly familiar. Is this the KK 62? That particular Finnish machine gun is mechanically similar to the vz. 52 (Bren-style tilting bolt, pistol grip charging handle, etc.).

For those of you who don't know, this rifle is the Type 63. Despite its resemblance to the SKS, it's mechanically different. Its safety/fire selector is located in front of the trigger, its mag release is of the AK pattern, it uses a rotating bolt instead of a tilting bolt, etc.
