In the second half Wolves were unrecognisable with Angel Gomes making a big difference in midfield. As good as it is coming from two down, the frustration is where was that for the first 40 minutes.

#wwfc | The Larsen situation Edwards is getting some stick on socials & one of the main reasons for that is because of his persistence with Larsen. Has the Norwegian’s supply line been cut? Yes and we can see that, but that doesn’t mean you should be playing with what looks like a bad attitude. Larsen should not have started against Brentford, but he did and not only did he play, he lasted the whole game despite putting in another woeful performance. Then to add insult to injury, Tolu is only introduced in the 81st minute despite his impact at Arsenal last week. So unfortunately, when you make decisions like that you’re going to have to accept the deserved criticism when it comes your way. Only Wolves would reward a player with a new contract when he’d only signed permanently on a long deal just months before - another beauty from Jeff Shi. Larsen hasn’t been the same since the Newcastle interest, so if this petulant version is the real him, hopefully Wolves consider any offers in January.
