Listened to some Celtic fans talking about their game at the weekend. They talk about Celtic being by far the better team. All fail to mention the game was 50/50 on a knife edge until Motherwell got a red card and Celtic got the penalty. Hopefully keep their head in the sand.

@ArrC94 @LetsTalkGers I don’t think we have any players who can contribute more to the build up. I think what we seen today, what we saw against Celtic the last two weeks, it’s what we’re stuck with. I think this set up is what can get the most from what’s available. Is it enough? I doubt it.

@Craig_Dennett @LetsTalkGers Players who can contribute more to the build up and control a game of football. We have none of that and the two strikers contribute to that.

Was behind the idea of 4-2-2-2 but starting to have doubts now. The idea that Youssef Chermiti is much better with a partner feels a bit like a myth and Rangers just don’t seem to do enough with the ball in midfield. Might be time for Danny Rohl to change the shape.

@ArrC94 @LetsTalkGers We have a creative player? The complete absence of creativity is the biggest issue we have by an absolute mile. It impacts everything else.

@Craig_Dennett @LetsTalkGers We seen it against Hearts and Celtic first half of the league game. We haven’t seen it since. They both want to do the same thing and occupy the same spaces. It should be one or the other for me moving forward and get more creative players on the pitch.

@ArrC94 @LetsTalkGers Yeah he does. We saw the benefits against Hearts and Celtic (first game). Naderi’s doing a power of work and putting in the hard yards while occupying defenders while Chermiti is on the last line. Naderi is being sacrificed to get most from Chermiti until end of season imo.

@TheDyker We’ve bought a lot of potential and no experience. Our front three today was effectively Chermiti (21), Naderi (20) and Moore (18). People forget how young they are.

@Craig_Dennett Completely agree we are still in this Craig but watching that for 90 minutes I feel we won’t be in it for much longer 🫣 With the cash we have spent the real lack of quality is alarming.

Three points secured at a place we’d only won one of our last five. I imagine that was a lot more comfortable than it felt while watching it but there’s a lot of glaring issues still there. 3 points off top spot with 8 games left. We’re right in this.

This squad just don’t look fit enough to play for 90 minutes. It’s really weird. Nervy last 20 minutes again because we haven’t killed the game.

Hearing loads of people saying yesterday is on Danny Rohl and he’s shown that he doesn’t have what it takes. They then use our lack of creativity in midfield as a reason, which is down to the players at his disposal. You can be annoyed without jumping to ‘sack the manager’.

An absolute myth of a support. Way they were going on about today I expected them to be loud for the full game. They stood in silence for most of it. Only heard a couple of times. I’m sure their club will enjoy the bill for this, which probably wasn’t their fault either.

@John8McMonagle Not sure many are raving about him but he’s shown a lot of good things, some bad things that he needs to learn from. You say that as though he took over a good squad. He took over a team that had 8 pts from 9 games. You didn’t have a shot in 120 mins today, that’s unheard of.

That one stings but penalties are a lottery. Dominated from the first minute to the 120th minute but we’re so toothless in the final third and it has cost us. The fact Celtic didn’t have a shot on or off target in the whole game says it all. Isn’t on Danny Rohl in any way.

@mccd72 Hibs and Motherwell, he deserves criticism. Livi was on the players.

@John8McMonagle Think it says more about us in final third than anything. Take away the League Cup semi final because there was a red card in the first half (although the fact we took that to ET says a lot). His setup has been right in 3 out of 4 halves, just aren’t clinical in final third.

@CF3Loyal Expected more from Skov Olsen but is the reality none of us know what type of player he is? Goal against Killie plus assists against Celtic and Hearts show his quality. How do we get it more often from him? He also hadn’t played much this season before coming to us.

@J1mb0wW I’m with you on Raskin. I would bomb him out the squad completely. He has a fear of anything other than a safe pass and when he tries to play through the lines, his passing is shocking. As we saw last week, Chukwuani could only last 60 mins before blowing out his backside.

@Craig_Dennett Not having that, Raskin again finished the game and had no impact what so ever. Give me Tochi over Raskin 7 days a week and twice on a Sunday. We have to stop making excuses for Rohl.

@CF3Loyal I would argue it’s the players we have that are lacking the creativity. We don’t have a single creative midfielder and as we’ve seen, Chermiti ‘works’ in a very specific set of circumstances which we’re trying to play to. Rohl’s set up first half last week and today was spot on.
