RIP Freddie 😢
Sending our deepest condolences to the family and friends of 9 year old Gresford Athletic FC player Freddie Pritchard who sadly passed away unexpectedly on his way back from a family holiday.
Freddie has touched so many hearts and was a huge football fan. He supported many international/ European football teams especially his home town Wrexham and Liverpool FC. The football community has been absolutely amazing holding a minutes silence and applause.
A message from Matt, his coach:
“Freddie was a well-loved member of the team and was developing into a good footballer with a fierce left foot, who scored lots of goals for us.
The coaches, players and parents will all miss Freddie dearly, but he will always be with us in our hearts and he won't be forgotten.”
A fundraiser has been started to help towards the cost of Freddie’s funeral, with donations also being given to the Cheshire Ambulance Service, the Countess of Chester Hospital and the Alder Hey Snowdrop suite.

A taxi driver mate took 2 lads from Liverpool city centre to Warrington last Saturday. They did a runner.
He chased them down, knocked one out and got the other back in the cab, after giving him a few digs of course.
