The bible doesn't end with souls ascending to a disembodied heaven. It ends with a fully embodied heaven descending to earth The resurrection is the good news that God in Christ is committed to the renewal, reconciliation & resurrection of all things—and so should the Church be.

Not to be too political, but COVID-19 sucks.

Good missional theology and practice believes that wherever we go, God has already been working. We don't bring God anywhere. Rather, we discover through prayer and conversation where God has been at work. To believe otherwise is naïveté at best and colonization at worst.
