Keir Starmer has become the first UK prime minister to be presented with the Légion d’honneur by a French president, in recognition of his work with France on the security of Europe. This is something he ought and WE ought to feel extremely proud about Well done @Keir_Starmer Who needs America?

Lucy Powell, the horrible person who dismissed raising the mass rape and torture of white working class girls as a “dog whistle”. You don’t get to give lectures on civility. Ann Widdecombe was a far better human than you yet the left celebrate her murder.

Andy Burnham left Greater Manchester £1.34 billion in the red – the highest debt of any combined authority in England, analysis shows. dailysceptic.org/2026/07/14/and…

EXCL: Keir Starmer has become first UK PM to be presented with Légion d’honneur by French president, in recognition of his work on security of Europe. Emmanuel Macron awarded the historic honour to Starmer for his l'ship in setting up coalition of the willing at a critical moment for the continent in early 2025. Only other British PM to receive a similar award – at a higher level, the Grand-Croix of the Légion d’honneur – was Winston Churchill in 1958 in recognition of his leadership during the second world war. theguardian.com/politics/2026/…

No he is not. Farage, finally, is being treated as a politician rather than a cheeky chappy commentator. He got away with so much for so long he thought he could do anything for ever. The main problem for him is that nobody thinks anyone ever gives a politician five million quid for nothing. His excuses have made it worse. And however hard Jenrick protests you just need to scroll through posts of Reform senior figures since Ann Widdecombe’s murder to see they have indeed been seeking to exploit it both to shift the narrative/avoid continuing questions over the money, and to claim they are treated unfairly by “the establishment” (basically anyone who isn’t a Farage fan) They would be wise to let the police do their job without making it harder than it already is.

My Grandfather received the Légion d’honneur for the part he played on DDay so I find this particularly offensive. Given to the worst PM in history and the most unpatriotic PM we’ve ever had. It’s an insult, he’s an insult

🚨NEW: Keir Starmer is set to announce a midnight social media curfew for 16-17 year olds
