@ThornyEmbrace // In my run I tried to romance her, fucked it up when she was having a Slaanesh-y seizure and I touched her, and since she hates physical contact it was cooked. Ended up romancing kibellah by accident lmao. As for Yrliet on my ending, she was killed by Pasqual as he went rogue.

@CrazedCyan Iirc she doesn’t even die in the end. She just fucks off of in one of two ways, sad you died or looking for more adventure. It’s like, yeah she WILL die but she ain’t dead yet. You romance her, she’s sad you died and you help her get out of it or she’s like, “I’m bored”

I found Yrliet’s ending to be predictable but not bad. I wouldn’t even quantify it as grimdark writing as it follows similar logic to any story that has a human and nigh-eternal being together.

Not only animations The so called "good grimdark writing" regarding some endings out of nowhere. It's slavic type of writing (Saying it as slav myself). Happy endings considered as bad thing cause usually this type of writing requires to be as pretentious and "deep" as possible
