So upsetting - in the last 3 years we’ve taken this place from a team to a club now with 3 senior teams, U9s, u11s girls, women’s team & a safe place for local families to be on a Friday night. Pls tweet your support #CricketTwitter #grassroots

Do you know where your kids were last night? Sadly had equipment and buildings vandalised down the cricket field. Trying to building a place for the community, so gutted to see it treated like this. Cctv has been passed to Police.

Really good win for @east_raintoncc today - last few games I’ve seen not changing the death bowlers has cost them but a great well timed decision today got them a comfortable total they knew the batters could reach before the rain arrived

Lots on opportunities and specifically exploiting opportunities. Something in the retail sector that I really think #durham has missed - we should be up there with York as a tourist destination. #bigecon

I had free higher and degree education between 2000 and 2007 so it’s really interesting to see the gap that has developed in accessing education between that time and now. Many initiatives have tried to fill the gap but has anything done as much as funded degrees? #bigecon

Really interesting listening to panelist at #bigecon around the nostalgia or County Durham and the importance of supporting local talent through education opportunities. I do think Durham really could thrive between nostalgia & independent brands
