Putting the smiles back on the faces of Afghan girls in the midst of civil strife and stressful Covid life - it is beautiful! 50 girls graduated from sewing class at one @AIL_ngo learning center - tears of joy and smiles of hope for their futures!

Latest "Call of Education" magazine published .topics such as: crisis management, peace, role of education, journalism, importance of technology, creativity and children and why learn English and much more... We publish 2x a year and distribute AIL facilities/government offices.
One of our centers is a English language only center. We have 380 students at this site. Many of @AIL_ngo learning centers offer English classes too. The subject is popular and helps people gain employment.
Our Kabul office has held a teacher training workshop for 42 people and a one day workshop on health for 51 people. #WorldTeachersDay . @AIL_ngo has returned to workshop education with full social distancing/sanitation protocols. Education is vital to improving people's lives.
Electronic education discussed at a meeting in the @AIL_ngo office with universities and government officials. The research shows a low rate of virtual education and web based software usage. More needs to be done to make this form of education/software more suitable/accessible.

Mental health needs to be a focus during this time of #COVID19 especially for our youth. Children need to know they are safe and protected even when the world is in disarray. Loving support, patience and compassion and listening to their concerns is vital from parents & teachers.
.@AIL_ngo health clinics continue their important work even in the stressful circumstances of #COVID19 . So far in 2020, over 146,000 patient treatments have been given and 112,000 have attended health education sessions. Educate to break the cycle of ill health!
