The biblical account explains the geological record far better than the old-earth theories.

“And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 2:9).

God created the heavens, the earth, and all that is in them in six normal-length days around 6,000 years ago.

Instead of listening to the command of his Creator, Adam chose to rebel and eat the fruit from the forbidden tree (Genesis 3:6).

Genesis is clear that God didn’t make birds from preexisting dinosaurs.

All human beings are made in the image of God. Theologians strive to adequately describe all that this truth entails, but we can be confident of the following implications of being made in God’s image because they are revealed in his Word. Distinct from Animals: After he made the animals, the Lord created the first man and woman, setting them apart by making them in his image and giving them dominion over the animals. “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth’” (Genesis 1:26). Every Person: Though marred by Adam’s sin, every human being, both male and female, from the moment of fertilization, is made in God’s image, regardless of one’s level of development, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, or age. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). Immeasurable Value: All human life is precious because we are made in God’s image. This fact explains why it is wrong to curse others (James 3:8–9) and why God prescribed a severe penalty for murder. “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image” (Genesis 9:6). “But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God” (James 3:8–9).

Everyone in the world today is descended from the various groups of people whom God separated at the tower of Babel.

What's the most surprising thing you learned during your visit to the Creation Museum?

The creation and flood legends of people all around the world support the Bible’s anthropology as true.

Noah’s flood was a historical event that happened about 4,350 years ago.

There is even more to do this spring at the Creation Zoo! You can now purchase daily animal feedings at the zoo (card only). Join us at the Wallaby Walkabout from 10:00–11:00 a.m. (or until the food runs out) to feed our wallaby mob or grab a lettuce cup for our goats and domestic animals from 3:00–4:00 p.m.

The stars remind us of God’s glory and goodness, but God’s Word will remain when the stars pass away.

Sin corrupted God’s perfect creation when Adam disobeyed God, ushering death and suffering into the world.

Jesus confirmed the Genesis definition of marriage as between one man and one woman for life.

“So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man” (Genesis 2:21–22). The first woman, Eve, was made from Adam’s rib to be his wife. This first marriage established God’s plan for marriage. When asked about divorce and marriage, Jesus responded by pointing to Adam and Eve: “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?” (Matthew 19:4–5).

“Science” can’t prove any event from history because it is limited to observing the present.

The Bible is crystal clear; the flood was not local. Rather, it was a GLOBAL event.
