@poeticsword So true! And Jack’s violation of Will’s personal space, screwing with Will’s glasses so that he couldn’t hide behind them anymore, was so pushy that it makes us immediately want to be on Will’s side.

@poeticsword When I read the script the first time & saw that they’d initially planned to have the GJH scene play out just like it did in the book, I realized that the way they changed the scene really was already showing us a glimpse of what was hiding behind Will’s façade.

@CreativeSpoonie Yeah he definitely has overkill with Hobbs (a metric in and of itself that I’m sure he identified) the dogs/seeing his home life immediately gives us empathy back for him as well and his snark feels kinda justified in how it’s presented
