@fischer_scotty Yeah some sort of Officer payoff. It does also trigger the dilemma mechanic - I guess we'll also have to see if that will matter in the context of the set.

@Creative_Combos Officers being OP might be the only saving grace. A cost reducer for Officers?

I'm impressed at how BAD this card is. They did Kirk dirty. Worse than half the 3cmc red uncommons and rare creatures printed recently.

@fischer_scotty It does also trigger on attack, but yeah having 2 toughness is rough in standard. I do wonder if being an Officer and making Officer tokens will matter in the context of the set, but I guess we'll see.

@Creative_Combos Honestly it's underwhelming even then... I can't believe it's 2/2, and the +1/+0 doesn't give haste or anything. Staple blue random draft chaff creates 1/1 tokens, red random draft chaff rummages and black random chaff gives +1/0 and it even has menace, it's like modal chaff...

Easily the best 60 card format spoiler from today. Two-drops that attack your opponent's hand have a great track record and this seems like one of the best versions. Should see play back to Pioneer at least, and maybe even further back. Basically a two mana black Vendilion Clique.
