Here's a condensed version of our Haven ruins analysis. Next we scour more of Haven while Team 2 heads to Thades to collect evidence for a theory of what happened there. Then Teoma, a planet that shouldn't be. Deravi#6100 to join our Helios Starfleet science team. @dualuniverse

A camera drone shows a near-perfectly circular area where vegetation and topsoil has been destroyed. The area should be overgrown like the surroundings, indicating perhaps a recent blast. Who lived here? What happened to them to make room for Market 14? @dualuniverse

Major Discovery! If we are the first to populate this system how is it that org Helios Starfleet's archaeology team located the ancient ruins of a few primitive structures on Haven? Find it on the SW edge of Market 14's hex. Has Aphelia lied to us?! @dualuniverse @Novaquark

After scraping off a layer of detritus we found several posts are metallic. As basic minerals can be found in abundance on Haven it poses a mystery: if you have access to metals, why build partly with wood and stone? Was this an ancient settlement that was slowly modernized?

We'll update this post as the team analyzes the dig site. Largely stone but here we see some scattered wooden components. In Haven's climate wood takes roughly 200 years to decompose so this place was inhabited while we were en route.
