also as someone who did game marketing art as a full time job those key art renders really sell the designs so well they did such a good job there

idk the designs are growing on me. from certain angles they look weird but they have a squat charm to them that's more interesting than the generic "cool" smash bros look. like they could be jim henson creatures from an 80s star fox movie

people are doing edits of the new starfox designs and giving them plantigrade legs
