It is a pleasure to announce that Gemma Neath has joined @1GCFamilyLaw with immediate effect. Gemma who qualified as a solicitor in 2009 was called to the Bar in 2024. Before joining 1GC Family Law, Gemma practiced at a prestigious solicitor’s firm for the last 11 years specialising in Care Proceedings. She was one of the firm’s in-house Solicitor-Advocates and has appeared in courts at all levels, representing parents, children and local authorities. The greatest honour of my life to walk into @MoJGovUK as the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice yesterday. Before politics, I was a lawyer. I understand the deep challenges facing our justice system. But there is so much we can do. The hard work starts now.
