Brody was selected as Crete HS boy lifter of the year today! He has made tremendous growth in his lifts, speed, quickness, and explosion this year. He’s become a really good leader too. Proud of you @BrodyMattox2008 !

Cardinals move to 11-4 and advance to the conference semifinals and will face Aurora on Thursday

History was made today for the Crete boys wrestling team! This group of kids set a record for most dual wins in Crete wrestling history today with 13. Our kids have filled every weight in each dual we have competed in as well this year as we set a new standard for our program.

This past weekend, the Lincoln Journal Star recognized JR. WR/DB, Peyton Steuer, as a First Team Class B All State Selection as an Athlete. This is Crete's first First-Team selection in nearly 10 years. Congratulations to Peyton and to his teammates who made all of this possible!

Our boys team battled hard at the Crete Invite today! Congrats to our three medalists- Juan Tercero Rafael, Liam Clarke, and Brody Mattox. A special congrats to Brody for being the first champ from Crete to win his bracket at this tournament since 2019. Go Cards!
