@CrewDisc1 I totally feel that!! Chances are, you're probably throwing it farther than you think, but that's super relatable. I've been struggling with my 7-9 speeds lately and that used to be my sweetest spot not too long ago

Disc golf is cool because you can get good at a really cool particular throw and then all of the sudden the next weekend you can play you can't throw that special throw anymore so you have to find it again

@BogeyObi Not using a something to divide it! I’ve given disc to migrant children playing by the pins so they see the DG community as being all inclusive. You’re not wrong in your statement too.

I hate this argument. The people that play disc golf are the people who live around disc golf courses. Our sport is mostly white because most courses are close to mostly white neighborhoods.

@BogeyObi If the person who wrote this came to my local courses, they would see half brown and “white.” I’m in CA central coast and we have seen a larger group of Mexicans playing(I’m half so throw me in too) and some have even started their own teams. It’s about growing the sport…

@TheLtColUSMC I’m of Mexican blood, my Dad is extremely proud of my accomplishments in and outside of the Marine Corps! He even brags about it(despite the fact I EAS’d 20 years ago)!

@RareDiscGolf Our local sanctioned events went up, not because of the tariff’s but because our local county park is asking for its cut in the event. We can’t “rent,” the course so we worry about hitting other patrons during a weekend event.

Part of it is definitely economic. I'm running a circuit challenge event and I'm worried that we won't get enough registration to cover the flat fee for booking the course. The cost to run the event is so damn high because of tariffs. :(

@Crunchy_DG @TonguesOutDG I’ve been debating the same idea. At my local courses, most of the shots are the same. I normally throw my FW’s and Mids; upshot’s are my putters. Only 2 holes actually need a DD. I’ve reduced my number but thinking to carrying 5

@TonguesOutDG I very much believe there's truth to the disc golf application of "I fear not the man that has practiced a thousand kicks once, but the man that has practiced one kick a thousand times". Removing backups, I don't see any reason to carry more than 15 personally. Lol
