🚨🚨🚨 100TH ANNIVERSARY 🚨🚨🚨
Happy 100th anniversary to the North Central Conference!
On March 23, 1926, in an office at Kokomo High School, administrators gathered to officially form one of the most successful conferences in state history. There were 10 charter schools in the NCC: Anderson, Frankfort, Indianapolis Arsenal Tech, Kokomo, Lebanon, Logansport, Muncie Central, New Castle, Richmond and Rochester.
The conference has won 100 IHSAA state championships, with Kokomo winning the first in track and field in 1926.
The current NCC is made up of Anderson, Kokomo, Lafayette Jefferson, Marion, Muncie Central and Richmond. Other schools that have held membership include Huntington North, Harrison and McCutcheon.
Happy anniversary to the Conference of Champions!
