Kudos to Kavya Maran for standing by her principles & selecting a player based on talent rather than nationality. After picking Abrar Ahmed, she has received a huge amount of hate from India, but the spine she has shown in the face of radical Indians deserves a huge praise and applause. At least someone on the other side of the border is brave enough to stand for what is right & not mix politics with sports. The hate she is getting is absolutely ridiculous, especially when the league has nothing to do with India as it is a foreign league anyway. But you cannot expect logic from people who have already chosen hatred over common sense. The same people who happily watch India play Pakistan multiple times suddenly have a problem with the presence of a Pakistani player in a foreign league. After receiving r**e threats & hate from radical Indians, she might be forced to reconsider the decision of picking Abrar. However but standing up for what she believes is right, she has sent a strong message & exposed the mentality and hatred of certain illiterate elements on the other side. Thank you Kavya Maran 🧡
