It is with great sadness to let you know one of our members & life time supporter of CCC Michael Milne passed away on Friday aged 90. Micheal was a passionate follower of the club & enjoyed many a Saturday afternoon enjoying the cricket with all of his like minded friends.

Worcestershire County Cricket Club are saddened to share the news of the passing of Norman Gifford MBE, aged 85. A former Worcestershire captain, Norman enjoyed an illustrious playing career that saw him win the County Championship with the Pears in 1964. Norman, represented Worcestershire with distinction for 22 years, between 1960 and 1982, with the famed spinner taking a remarkable 1,615 first-class wickets during that time. 📰 youpears.com/NormanGiffordM…

I heard your last words today Pat and as expected they weren't about you or a quite mind boggling 51 years, they were finishing your match report and, rather humbly, signning off. A mark of the man and pro. I've heard your voice as a kid, an apprentice, a pro, a pundit and fan so from me and I'm sure many on the Midlands ( and beyond) patch, a sincere thank you and all the very best in the future.
