Trump arrives in Beijing with major US business leaders amid high-stakes talks 🇺🇸🇨🇳 US President Donald Trump reportedly arrived in Beijing accompanied by several prominent American business leaders, including executives linked to Apple, Tesla, BlackRock and JP Morgan. Analysts believe the presence of major corporate figures signals that economic negotiations and investment discussions may play a central role in the visit. The talks come as China faces economic pressure from slowing growth, weak consumer confidence and challenges in the property sector. At the same time, geopolitical tensions involving Taiwan, Iran, trade restrictions and US-China relations remain key issues likely to shape discussions. Some political commentators speculate that business partnerships, tariffs and regional security matters could all form part of broader negotiations, although no official details have been released.

President Cyril Ramaphosa, regardless of political affiliation, remains one of the few leaders standing against entrenched networks of corruption and criminal influence. If those forces succeed in removing him, South Africa risks falling deeper into lawlessness and becoming vulnerable to capture by cartel-like interests.
