The Berzerker vs The Undertaker is one of those forgotten Taker feuds because there was no PPV payoff. Berzerker tried to stab Taker with his sword!

I’m kind of shock by the number of people who don’t think this movie would be fascinating because it is about the weather for D-Day. Then I remember that average person are not history nerds nor do they realize D-Day was pushed back due to the weather and was at risk to be pushed back a second time. Thankfully, not because within a week the weather would have been worse than June 6.
Met Office@metoffice

The first trailer for ‘Pressure’ is here, the film which tells the story of the most important weather forecast; the D-Day forecast. Andrew Scott stars as Group Captain James Stagg – the Met Office meteorologist tasked with delivering the weather forecast and helping shape D-Day's plans. In cinemas 9 September. #pressuremovie @StudiocanalUK

Band of Brothers: I know I lot of you have served. How accurate is this? I mean this single clip covers so many aspects of military service. Valor, cowardice, frustration at being in command and enlistment. And the legends that spring from them. But that's the point, does this sort of thing actually happen or is this just one of those things that still gets talked about decades later because of how rare it all really is? If you have first hand experience with situations like this I'd love to hear it.

The Day Americans and Germans Fought Together in WWII. On May 5, 1945, in the Austrian Alps, one of the strangest battles of the entire war took place at Castle Itter. High-ranking French prisoners, including two former prime ministers, were trapped inside as a unit of die-hard SS troops approached to execute them. Help came from an unexpected direction. U.S. Captain Jack Lee arrived with a single Sherman tank. He was joined by Major Josef Gangl, a German Wehrmacht officer who had already defected to protect civilians. Together with just a handful of American and German soldiers, and the French prisoners themselves, who picked up weapons, they defended the castle. The battle was desperate. The Sherman tank was destroyed. Ammunition ran low. Major Gangl was killed shielding a former French Prime Minister. Just as the SS were about to break through, American reinforcements arrived and ended the fight. It remains the only known battle in World War II where American and German troops fought side by side against other Germans. In the final days of the war, survival proved stronger than old hatreds. Sometimes the most extraordinary alliances are born not from politics, but from simple human decency in the face of evil.

God wouldn’t have allowed the end of one thing if He didn’t have a new beginning coming. Don’t judge by appearances. God is doing things you can’t see. There’s something bigger, better, more rewarding than you can imagine.

@DrHelenFry Wow. It’s obviously such a vast topic with thousands of subtopics and more sub topics. That being said, for something over arching, I would suggest Shirer’s Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.

@PeverellTom @DrHelenFry I have just read William Shirer’s Berlin diary about his time there during the late 1930s and early 1940s before Pearl Harbor obviously. A fascinating social and political account from inside Nazi Germany. He was a great writer.

@DrHelenFry Albert Speer's "Inside the Third Reich." It is an interesting take from a person who was on the inside and how he is trying to make his part in the debacle look less than it actually was.
