@FrancisChipp @JacobsBen @ToonPolls Frank I know you do your best to play everything with a straight bat but I think you could take the likes of Jacob’s and Romano on. The world would be a better place if you could clear these jokers out

@SkyNews @BethRigby It didn’t stop him trying to cover the whole thing up. He needs to come clean on th McSweeney phone cover up as well. Not one person will have any sympathy for the lies and those are continuing

The importance of learning. Fascinating listening to Lewis Hall speaking after England training at St George’s Park. Hall spoke at length about his hunger to learn and develop. Newcastle United left-back has learned from recent experiences, good and bad, playing against elite wide players like Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal in the last 16 of the Champions League. Hall did well against Yamal in the drawn first leg at St James’ Park, although the Spanish international converted a late pen. Hall: “I was very pleased the way I performed. I'd say the same in the second leg for the first half, I was reasonably happy.” Yamal showed his threat just before half-time and then ran riot in the second half. “These players are the best players in the world. Sometimes they can't necessarily be at their level for the full 90 minutes, but even when they’re not at their best, they show their quality in moments throughout the game. He’s someone when the team is not doing well he can change the scoreline by himself. He's definitely a special player.” As well as Yamal, Hall has faced Antoine Semenyo, Bryan Mbeumo and Mo Salah in recent weeks, continuing his education. “You've got to test yourself against the best. I went through a short time-frame where I've had a lot of games playing against the top players in the world. It’s a difficult challenge, but I wanted that challenge. It's been a learning curve.” He learned breaking through at Chelsea, especially from senior pros like Thiago Silva. “Although he didn't necessarily speak much English, he was so good to me. He always wanted to help me improve. He was playing a lot of games at the time and still taking time on the training pitch to help me. I’m really grateful.” Eddie Howe has been an important teacher at Newcastle. “He's been a massive help for me. He’s done so much to help me be in the position I am now. He's helped me a lot off the pitch in ways to be around the training ground, and how to interact with all the lads. And then on the pitch, he’s showed a lot of belief in me, and taught me a lot about the defensive side of my game, which was the main area I needed to improve when I first joined. He spent a lot of time staying behind after training, working with me. I'm always grateful for that. Top coach.” #CFC #NUFC #ENG

@MsiDouglas If you think this game will define Eddie Howe @MsiDouglas then you’re just chasing clicks. Can’t be bothered to open the link and give it any semblance of credibility

🤯 The Tyne-Wear derby is the game that makes - or breaks - managers. Eddie Howe cannot afford to lose to #safc again - and his #nufc 'life depends on it' quote shows he knows what's riding on it... Read 👇 inews.co.uk/sport/football…

"If Paul (Tierney) focused more on his job to make the right decision, we have a penalty, Woltemade kicked Palmer in the box". Rosenior lost his head after that Chelsea loss, referee gave our players yellow cards for winning the ball, and stopped the huddle.

Newcastle United have played the maximum number of games possible at this stage of the season… and still produce performances like that. Eddie Howe is a genius. ⚫️⚪️ #nufc

@Carty1Tim You need to find another team you tit. Having a go at your own team when we have won away from home. There’s a team 13 miles down the road who would welcome you with open arms being so negative. Howe out my arse. You don’t deserve to celebrate wins like that

@Cromaz Idiot? Was a tap in and he still nearly fucked his touch. Eddie spent £125mil on 2 strikers and is playing a winger over the pair of them and playing our club record signing CM when he’s a striker
