@CrootMatt For JVG to comment is huge, he is always level and concise in interviews. As fans we will always sound off but its quite the statement from him

Fair play to JVG for addressing it. As he said, all we want is consistency! A level playing field is all that is asked for. The disciplinary system is consistently inconsistent, with all of the cameras available it shouldn't be the same on the pitch

@CrootMatt @BathRugby Mixed feelings at the moment mate but we can be very proud of how far we’ve come. We didn’t take our chances and made uncharacteristic mistakes, Bordeaux played well. I’ll say some questionable refereeing/TMO moments but Bordeaux deserve it on the balance.

Could roll out pun wagon on that one as it was the fine margins that saw @BathRugby lose to a UBB that more than anything took there chances TMO was locked in cupboard by french director🤦but no shame in that defeat from them down road in game many wrote them right off in pre KO

Leinster through to the final by the skin of their teeth! Toulon ballsing the 2 player advantage cost them dearly

The effortless bilingual officiating from Luke Pearce makes a massive difference with French side in @ChampionsCup semi & should be something all top ref's stride for, but he is by far best in business imo & having another top day on the whistle in a big game👏

@FMC_Rugby Now that would definitely be fair play!, but I've thought for long old while that with French sides regularly going deep in comps refs should least be able to converse the basics to let game flow.

I will only congratulate the refs when one of them starts effortlessly speaking Georgian in a Black Lion/Georgia match

@PeterMiles65 @BearsBeyondGate @BristolBears Difficult one imo as a lot of it has been overblown, but there is still fact is not good optics for club & not the usual positive noise the we generate. Personally I'd put a📌in it & move on if my decision as it's spiraled into mess I don't think any type of statement rectifies

@CrootMatt @BearsBeyondGate @BristolBears The old all publicity is good publicity, whilst it’s been well reported, it doesn’t work well in this case, but I’m unsure if coming out and clarifying or acknowledging he’s made a mistake is a good idea.
