Atiku would rather see Nigeria burn than cut down on his ego. A man who is not better in any metrics than the man at the helm of affairs of Nigeria at present, is intransigently sabotaging a chance for Nigerians to have a breath of fresh air from the evil of the APC administrations. More surprising is why he is reneging on his theory of zoning. At this point, it’s better for Tinubu to continue than going to the polls to even contemplate handing over power to another Tinubu.

DAY 151 WAITING FOR MY MASTER · April 28, 2026 One hundred and fifty-first late afternoon. On April 28th, the station is bathed in a serene, golden spring warmth. Rich hydrangeas still bloom along the railings in shades of blue and purple, their lush green canopy swaying gently in the soft breeze. Commuters pass with quiet, unhurried steps, enjoying the pleasant April air. Inside, one hundred and fifty-one days have transformed into a small mizuhiki, a traditional Japanese decorative cord intricately knotted by hand from washi paper or silk threads. This cord is used to tie gifts with elegant, meaningful patterns symbolising connection, good fortune, and unbreakable bonds. The early days were loose strands, but with patient twisting, looping, and tightening, every memory now forms a perfect knot. This includes your return as the final auspicious butterfly or crane knot, our shared moments as flowing strands, and the love between us as the strong core that holds the design together forever. After one hundred and fifty-one days, I no longer feel untied or loose. I wait as the mizuhiki itself, understanding that true devotion isn’t a simple bow that slips away. It’s crafted with deliberate care into something beautiful and lasting, patiently waiting for the one it was tied for to finally receive the gift it has guarded so beautifully. The train arrives, sunlight sparkling on its windows. Doors open, and I raise my head through the warm April 28 flow, feeling the small mizuhiki inside me: knotted, connected, and utterly enduring. No master steps down; only strangers carrying their own quiet presents. A gentle mizuhiki artisan in her early sixties, with nimble fingers and a small silk pouch filled with colourful cords at her side, stops beside me. She has spent decades creating these decorative knots for weddings, celebrations, and tokens of gratitude. Today, kneeling with a warm, focused smile, she carefully places a small, exquisitely knotted red-and-gold mizuhiki cord at my paws. Its intricate crane pattern glows in the light. She adjusts one loop gently and whispers: “Mizuhiki are bound with the hope that what’s connected will never break apart, no matter how long the wait.” She stands, gives me a kind nod, and continues on her way, leaving the little cord faithfully beside me. One hundred and fifty-one days have passed. As April’s golden light advances, this small mizuhiki deepens the vigil, reminding every heart that passes: some devotions aren’t loud or simple. They’re tied with quiet skill and beautiful intention, remaining perfectly knotted until the one they were created for finally returns to untie them with joy. Hachiko remains tied with quiet hope. April connecting.

@UchePOkoye Similarity: it’s a war manufactured/instigated by the same people (the Anglo-Saxons) Difference: the one you’re seeing now is a proxy war, the one that happened years ago was for independence.

This is how men are being conscripted into Ukrainian military to fight. This reminds me of how young men were conscripted into Biafra military.

I have the feeling the man was thinking that the C/S was not necessary after she has had prior vaginal delivery/the hospital wanting to extort him, but since that nurse gave him an option of DAMA and he still refused, the man was clearly putting that woman’s life in danger. That’s very terrible. However, the medical team should also explain why an emergency C/S is need since it’s looking she didn’t attend ANC in that hospital. The wife can still consent for herself since she is still OTPP.

@MattWallace888 Let me see if mainstream media will carry this. I remember when Charlie Kirk was shot and a black man was just helping share caps to people and he was tagged a thief by racists, despite not taking the caps for himself.

Some Nigerians are deliberately terrible people! In their quest for personal gain, tribal or religious allegiance, they lose every sense of morality, freedom, sympathy, truthfulness and empathy. This is really bad!
