Still don’t know why A&M agreed to this trophy. I can see an individual trophy for each sport, but this is for athletics as a whole. Texas owns them in just about every sport.

I’m not trying to rag on A&M but they should re-think this. Texas is usually the winner or runner up for the Director’s cup which is basically the same thing, but nationwide. I think A&M would be wise to limit the number of sports in this one.

2025 Texas A&M or 2026 LSU … who was the bigger DISAPPOINTMENT on the diamond? I’d still say last years Aggies. You could see the down year coming in Baton Rouge after all the talent they lost. Year one of Michael Earley was flat out inexplicable.
