@Emma_Webster_ Absolutely shocking... You would hope there would be more help available in the current climate... As if leaving such a dangerous situation isn't difficult enough!

Service user fled domestic abuse 11 days ago. Refuges: does she have a history of drug use? yes. We can't help. Hostels: does she have a full time job? Yes. We can't accommodate as the rent would be too high without housing benefit, she needs to quit. The system is BROKEN.

Excellent charity in my local community, who have been proactive and tireless in their response to support local children during the pandemic 👏👏👏

After 6 weeks of buying /packing food parcels for @sthelenscouncil and completing 360 boxes. It has finally come to an end now the council are using their own staff. BFY enjoyed helping the response to children in isolation. Thank you @ChrisSt80594894 for All Saints free hall

@amandaSCPDN Totally agree, Amanda. I am a survivor of domestic abuse (over 12 years ago now) and I can tell you it's the "invisible" abuse that is most detrimental. Mine also massively escalated when I ended the 13 year relationship and it was my then colleagues who helped me through by...

Domestic abuse does not discriminate... And it encompasses more than physical abuse. We are living in a time, which increases isolation, stress and time spent at home - all of which can escalate the problem. Be aware, be mindful, be an open door... You are not alone 💜

@amandaSCPDN Supporting me and helping me stand strong and stay safe throughout. And at the time I worked full time, had hid it from my family and was raising a happy, healthy child...people do have to be ready to leave / disclose and need to retain control of their decisions, which is why...

@BiancaOprea00 @Mersey_Care @leila_QA So sorry to have missed this... I seemed to have a Skype link, that was in the Programme, to join and therefore could not get on the session... My colleague Margaret had the same problem ☹️ so glad it went well 👏👏
