Reminder that the fire is still actively being worked on by fire crews, and to prioritize their and firefighter safety to try to avoid spending time in the area or if passing through be mindful of firefighting crews in the area.

We are also asking that individuals who do not have a reason to be in the area, including those who may be curious, please refrain from traveling into the fire area. Keeping unnecessary traffic out of the area helps ensure the safety of both the public and emergency responders.

Flanders Fire Update Crews will continue working the Flanders Fire throughout today, focusing on hot spots and strengthening containment lines. While the area did receive some rain, it was not significant enough to have much impact on the fire conditions.
