@mmkkn9999 Im not saying fan service has never been a thing in one piece. But you cannot tell me pre timeskip had more or as much fanservice as post timeskip. Thats just not true. It got progressively worse with each arc. Again im not saying fan service has never been a thing

@Foote55 @SilverLuffy67 True, but also, its not an anime thing really. We’ve seen people recover from bombs and thunder strikes. Usopp took a 4ton bat in the face then plummeted to the ground and he’s still there so by that point this shouldn’t surprise you that much

@SilverLuffy67 Its one of the scenes that shows how bad the anime can be at times. She should have died from the first hit. She is just Nami. Not physically strong. Wouldn't survive a bullet and yet able to take a hit from a pirate that is considered to be quite strong in Kaido's group.

Nami’s loyalty to Luffy and the crew only grows stronger with every arc. She’d rather die than ever say Luffy won’t become King of the Pirates.
Nami is the best heroine for me.
Luffy and Nami have to be one of my favorite friendships and one of my favorite male/female bonds

Heavy on this, the anime is just goonslop now. Its genuinely distracting from the action like when watching this scene im just thinking about how perverted the animators must be and not whats actually happening like where nami is and whats happening to her.

This is exactly why I don’t watch the One Piece anime anymore. Everything about it feels off, like it’s filled with the animation team’s personal desires being projected onto and used to exploit the characters
