@thespecialhwan @SocExpFlakeFC @z18babymenks @KuleK39462 @MezahiMaher The referee was given orders, so what you're saying falls apart and no longer holds water. x.com/osasuo/status/…

If, as a top source in African ⚽️ has told me, that Olivier Safari Kabene, the head of @CAF_Online’s Referees Committee, told Patrice Motsepe, at an exco meeting, that he gave an order to Jean-Jacques Ngambo Ndala, the centre referee of the #AFCON final (pictured right), not to issue yellow cards to the #Senegal players that walked off the field in Rabat, why have disciplinary proceedings not been instituted against both men? Why is Kabene still in his job, when he had no right to give such an egregious instruction? Why is Ndala still on the #FIFAWC2026 list?

The precedent the CAF Appeals Board tried to set tonight is that refereeing errors during a match can be overturned after the match by disciplinary committees and appeals boards It's too much of a slippery slope for CAS not to annul their ruling

@SamirBennis @osasuo He contradicted himself by recounting the anecdote below, which proves that the referee was not independent in his decisions, and therefore Article 5 no longer applies. x.com/osasuo/status/…

Mr. @osasuo, your argument that Senegals is the "legitimate"winner of the AFCON is inconsistent and ultimately self-defeating. How can a team that has clearly breached the rules of the competition, rules to which it formally and unconditionally committed itself under Article 109 of the AFCON regulations, and, in so doing, violated the very spirit of sporting integrity, be described as the “legitimate” winner? This is not the “unvarnished truth” you claim to present. It is, rather, a distortion of both the facts and the applicable legal framework, driven more by sentiment than by a proper reading of the governing regulations. Whether the Senegalese players eventually returned to the pitch or whether the match was formally completed is legally irrelevant. The decisive moment occurred when the team engaged in a deliberate and premeditated withdrawal from the field of play and retreated to the dressing room. At that point, the regulatory breach was complete, triggering the automatic consequences provided for by the competition rules. This is precisely why competition regulations exist, and why bodies such as the CAF Appeals Committee are entrusted with enforcing them. Their role is not to accommodate your narrative, but to apply the rules consistently and rigorously, thereby safeguarding the integrity of the competition and preventing the game from descending into disorder and arbitrariness. @Lahcenhaddad

Morocco walked off the pitch in 1976 (their only AFCON win) and didn’t get their Title taken like they did with Senegal🤔 In that case they better give Guinea🇬🇳 their AFCON trophy too right?🤦🏿‍♂️🤣

@osasuo @CAF_Online Therefore, article 5 no longer applies after the senegalese left the pitch, because the referee was no more independent in his decisions.
