It’s mostly out west. I have a few friends who were terminally ill (and/or their parents) here in eastern Canada. It was an extensive application process - carefully evaluated by several doctors. The mentally ill are not considered of “sound mind” to make these decisions (here). 🤷🏼‍♀️
