one thing i learned in crypto that applies to other markets is that using the products is a major source of alpha if u started using amazon 10 years ago, u knew that it was going to be a insanely big company. if uve been an early adopter of ai products this past year u know that google is on track to create the best models and its stock price will rerate as a result. if u run ur own gpus for gaming or crytpo mining u could sense the shortage of gpus due to ai early on and the rise of nvidia. if u use apple devices, msft office at ur job, or cloud providers like aws, u know how high the switching costs of these are. this is probably one of the key reasons why young ppl with good common sense can beat the market. they just naturally developed a large circle of competence in tech products and tech stocks.
