The “Cosmosis” merge proposal has officially failed to pass governance.
A tight vote, but ultimately the market said the buyout price was too high.
Osmosis says next steps are coming soon, "with user safety and continuity as the top priority."
No revised proposal expected (per Sunny).
The real questions:
1) Was this disciplined capital allocation?
2) or a missed opportunity to consolidate liquidity in Cosmos?
3) What should happen next?

We are pleased to welcome Emma Pecenicic, Head of Digital Assets Distribution at Fidelity International, to #Cosmoverse26 Emma has spent nearly a decade at the intersection of asset management and digital infrastructure in Asia, leading the work that brings tokenised financial products from concept into live distribution. At Fidelity International, she leads digital assets distribution globally, having earlier built out the firm's digital product solutions and wealth strategy across APAC. Fidelity International's tokenised funds are already live with distributors across the region, a direct outcome of the distribution-led approach she has championed since joining the firm in 2021. She currently serves as a Board Member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong, having previously co-chaired its Blockchain committee, and is a founding member of W3W, supporting women in Web3. Her presence at Cosmoverse brings a senior perspective on what institutional-grade digital assets distribution looks like in practice, from fund tokenisation and regulated market access to the infrastructure conditions that make it operationally viable at scale.

Happy 5th Birthday @Stakecito 🥳
Five years ago today, Stakecito was born with our first validator on @cosmos.
We grew from zero to 300,000 unique delegators, ~$500M in assets under delegation and 7 full-time team members at the peak.
We've joined blockchains like @Celestia @Monad @Berachain @Starknet @SeiNetwork from testnet to genesis, operating across 40+ networks with distributed servers worldwide.
The past five years had real ups and downs. The last 12 months especially were anything but easy. But we're growing as an organization and coming out stronger.
We're working on broader diversification, strengthening our #Bitcoin finality provider and expanding our Ethereum node infrastructure with @staderlabs.
To our delegators: thank you.
We didn't just build validator infrastructure as one of the first content-creator-run validators, we built a community of our own.
Big shoutout to my co-founders @21nemus and @jonjonjas for keeping operations smooth through tough times, long nights and more than a few setbacks.
And to every team and foundation that let us join their network early: we don't take that for granted. Thank you!
