My biggest concern as an Aero locker used to be whether Base’s growth could sustain Aero’s trajectory. But while @base continues to trend upward, Aero is expanding far beyond it—positioning itself to become the liquidity hub of the on-chain global economy. Today, @AerodromeFi fees come from Base, and bridges like the recent one with @solana are making the migration of capital seamless. But in a few months, revenue will expand to Ethereum mainnet and the OP Superchain. This is only the beginning. I hope everyone is thinking beyond the next pump.

If you had bought locked $AERO at ATH back in 2024 and accumulated all the rewards, you would be down only around 15-19%. Outperforming $BTC $ETH $SOL or even $HYPE if you had bought those tokens at ATH.

Serious question: does anyone support the US situation in Iran? Feels like everyone on X is violently against it but not sure if that's the right sample size And has the reaction to wars always been like this? Iraq, Vietnam, etc Feels like 9/11 gave a lot of pro-war momentum/narrative (we need to control terrorism) Vs today all I read is how bad of an idea the Iran war was, how much Trump screwed up, etc

The CLARITY Act passed the House 294-134. a16z backed it. Ripple backed it. The White House backed it. The crypto industry spent $149M to make this moment happen. Then Brian Armstrong killed it the night before the Senate vote. Why? Because stablecoin yield restrictions would eat into Coinbase's $1.35B annual stablecoin revenue. One company's P&L just held an entire industry's regulatory future hostage. On March 25, Coinbase formally rejected the bill a second time. The odds of CLARITY Act passage in 2026 now sit at 18%. This isn't leadership. It's self-interest dressed up as principle.

Do you regret not locking your Aero? You've missed out on up to 50% flight school bonuses and 25% relay bonuses. I've been max locked and in relay for about a year and a half. My position has more than doubled. I doubt that type of performance over a year and a half will repeat without Flight School.

@wagmiAlexander I'm so jaded at this point with all crypto announcements. 😪 My guess is we'll get actual dates that different parts of the new protocol will be implemented. The only thing that would shock me would be if you announced Aero is live in 3....2....1...

If you want to know why your holdings are tanking, look no further than Brian Armstrong and Coinbase. It's absolutely insane that one company has the ability to stall a bill that has the majority of the Crypto industry, Banking industry and bipartisan support in congress. The question is, how does one man yield such power? We all are aware that the "Big Banks" have too much influence over Governments, do we really want to add Centralized exchanges to that list? As the post below states, there are literal trillions waiting on the sidelines for Clarity Act to pass. The bull market is within our grasp and a message needs to be sent. I think it's time to #boycottcoinbase

Both sides are blocking it so far but Coinbase is the one that said “no deal is better than a bad deal”. I understand why it is not a good deal for Coinbase (and exchanges), but “no deal” hurts all of crypto and prevents The US from setting the policies to lead the world. No one is representing the retail investors!

So do banks want to win this battle (no yield on stablecoins for exchanges) but lose the war (no regulatory clarity so no institutional adoption and stay with the current Swift) while the rest of the world progresses? That seems ridiculous to me. Everyone needs the Clarity Act signs!

@xtina_george @brian_armstrong Not at the expense of not passing the entire bill! The entire US crypto ecosystem needs the Clarity Act to pass!! After passage, they all can negotiate stablecoin yield for as long as they want to. I don't think most retail investors buy crypto for a 4% yield!

@Sovereign_Web3 Yeild on holdings is the law right now. Why should crypto / coinbase agree to the banks demand to end it. It's the banks that need clarity more than coinbase or the average holder. Don't give away your rights in hopes of a pump.

coinbase pushback against the yield compromise is misguided many ways to offer yield on stablecoins via a CEX frontend w/out circumventing the yield compromise. e.g., defi yields & tokenized money market funds unless it was never about giving customers yield for coinbase...

Coinbase has 100M+ users… and they’re trying to control crypto’s future. Let that sink in. Coinbase is slowing down the Clarity Act… not to protect you… but to protect their idle yield machine. 👉 Park your stablecoins 👉 Do nothing 👉 They profit off your liquidity Meanwhile… Banks are already preparing for DeFi. Not theory. Not “maybe.” They’re building rails to: • Offer lending & borrowing on-chain • Integrate stablecoins directly into apps • Let users earn yield through actual participation This bill? It’s PRO DeFi. It forces a shift from: ❌ Passive yield on centralized exchanges ✅ Active yield through decentralized networks Translation: They don’t want you sitting still… They want you in the system… earning. So ask yourself... Since when did Coinbase become the voice of crypto? Wasn’t this about decentralization? 100 million users… If even 10% decide pull their assets, and go on-chain… That whole model collapses. We don’t beg for change. We don’t protest. We exit… and build where the future is already happening.

This is the second time @brian_armstrong has torpedoed the CLARITY Act over the exact same issue. Most other crypto players want the Clarity Act to move forward. He killed the Senate Banking Committee markup in January and now he’s doing it again. At some point the rest of the industry has to ask whether Coinbase actually wants crypto regulation or is only looking out for itself.
