🚨 BREAKING The new SEC (Paul Atkins) crypto framework is out. He talked about clearer rules, dividing crypto into categories, and making things safer for builders and investors. He also hinted that many assets may not be treated as securities. #Kaspa is in an interesting spot right now. No premine, no VC backing, and a truly decentralized network with real utility. These traits likely sit on the safer side as SEC (Paul Atkins) brings clearer classification. When clarity comes, capital follows. When capital flows, charts move. Hype comes later, but positioning happens early. Kaspa might already be in that phase. 🚀

Native asset issuance means the ability to create and transfer tokens directly on Kaspa's L1 similar to what KRC-20 does now via indexers, but enforced at the protocol level.
Think: fungible tokens, stablecoins, tokenized assets all tracked natively in the UTXO model with atomic transfers. No external smart contract layer needed.
The specific tokens will depend on what builders deploy after the fork. The hard fork provides the infrastructure, not the assets themselves.

@realvijayk @thekaspaonion Bitcoiner here✋. Been looking into it and am intrigued, bought a little bit and messing around with Kaspium wallet. I'd definitely put it #2 for a POW coin behind BTC, it's at least trying to stand out from BTC without copying it. 🙂
