While Nigerians are busy wearing Tinubu mandate caps… the world is pushing beyond Earth itself. Humans have just reached the farthest distance ever from Earth through NASA’s Artemis II mission. As of today (April 7, 2026), the crew has completed the lunar flyby and is on the return leg of the mission. Meanwhile, many Nigerian youths are still anchoring their future on individuals… instead of expanding their minds to what the world and even the universe has to offer. This is not about mockery… it’s about mindset. Because the gap between nations is no longer just about wealth… it’s about direction.

While Nigeria is budgeting N135.22 billion to handle election disputes… the United States is investing over $1 billion to prevent them. Let that sink in. One system is preparing for courtroom battles. The other is strengthening the process so those battles don’t happen in the first place. Two different mindsets. Two different directions. Nigeria is allocating funds for: Legal dispute, Electoral adjudication, and post-election clean-up; which quietly raises a question… Why prepare so heavily for conflict if the system is trusted to deliver clarity? Meanwhile, the U.S. is spent on: secure voting systems, cybersecurity, voter registration upgrades, training, and accessibility. Not after the election… Before it even happens.

@ogbeniAkinbode @Onsogbu You're right with consumption rate. Just like the US has a higher consumption rate than China despite China being 4x the population of the US. But for Saudi and Nigeria I doubt that can be the same. Nigeria is whooping 80x the population of Saudi not single digit multiple

@Onsogbu The subsidy paid is not tied to population though thr population influences indirectly. Its tied to consumption rate. Saudi consumes more fuel than Nigeria daily. But again they have the money to chest the deficit. If only the wastage in Nigeria is properly conserved
