I still think blockchain has great promise as a tool, but not as a free financial system that the powers will let thrive outside their systems. Unfortunately is seems despite massive early growth, then oversold hype, crypto has lost the narrative back to precious metals.

Gotta live and learn, but for one I’ve learned that my grandpa was right. A lot of something uncertain, is only as good as how much more of something certain it can get you.

Saw so many in 2020 and 2021 selling all their gold to buy BTC, but in hindsight the opposite would have been the better move with gold now outperforming all of crypto since then, and even supplanting the US Dollar as the largest world reserve asset.

Was a believer that crypto would become true freedom money. But after reading Hijacking Bitcoin and realizing the scheme BTC became, and then seeing the even larger overall hijacking’s of the crypto ecosystem at large via ETFs and the like, I’ve lost that hope.

@elliotrades @YummyTheArtist The paper market sure, same as when a paper market for BTC turns up defunct (like past exchanges). BTC doesn’t take the hit, the exchange does. Physical will become the demand. Price will inflate.
