@hampdenroarpod Fair enough - as long as a clause is inserted which states that less than 5 attempts at goal for the whole tournament declares the contract null & void. Good chance we’ll be looking for a new manager imo.😂

Would prefer to wait until the tournament is done before anything is signed.
I'd also prefer any successor to be Scottish, and there's such a lack of a potential replacement.

That knock on in the tackle was potentially deliberate, but we’ll never know as the director never gave us many replays. Dempsey also had to leave for a head knock, but no replays.😉

@TEnglishSport Both Maeda & the goalie legitimately went for the ball - one backing in to receive the ball & the other coming out to punch the ball. I think we’ll call it a “rugby incident”. Any other day that last one is never given, but the officials were in an invidious position.

For balance, Celtic might have had a penalty for a foul on Maeda - and Motherwell might have had one, too. Recently, the Kyziridis penalty not given vs Motherwell, the Newell handball not given vs Celtic etc etc. Bin VAR, yes, but you’d still have officials making the same errors

@JohnWight1 I mean the awarding of the pen was tenuous in the extreme & given the Celtic fan’s historical & sometimes justified perception of institutionalized bias against them it would trigger a “mass psychosis”. Dare I say that books would be written about it.😁

The clear penalty was the result of both a handball and an elbow. The anti-Celtic voices in response are redolent of something else.
