@PMADDOGMAC @BishtSaheen Nah, its because they got nukes, we don't attack countries that have nukes for obvious reasons, hence why Iran wants a nuke.
English

@CryptoNewsBob @BishtSaheen Strange how North Korea has nukes, finances terrorism, has a psychopath in charge and NK ICBMs are a direct threat to US west coast and still at war with the US
But Trump hasn't attacked NK
But NK has no oil... 🤔
English

NOBODY WANTS TO SAY THIS OUT LOUD, SO I WILL
Yes, gas is $4 a gallon. That sucks. I'm not going to pretend it doesn't.
But here's what the media won't put in the same sentence:
Iran has been building toward a nuclear weapon for years. Their leadership has publicly called for the destruction of the United States and Israel. They fund proxy armies across the Middle East. They've attacked US bases. They've killed US soldiers.
And Trump just said, plainly, that the deal he's making is:
You pay a little more at the pump. In exchange, a hostile regime does NOT get a nuclear weapon pointed at American cities.
Is that trade worth it?
That's a fair debate to have. But the media isn't having that debate. They're just showing you the gas price number and letting you feel outraged.
They won't tell you what the alternative costs.
Because that number is a hell of a lot scarier than $4.
If you want cheap gas AND a nuclear Iran, just say that. Own it.
But don't act like the tradeoff isn't real.

@RyanDetrick 9 of the 10 largest were under Trump though. He basically creates disaster and then takes credit for solving his own disasters.

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive Not nearly enough, the Bank Judgement Rule generally protects against Bad Business Outcomes. If they want them, they should have to pay heavy taxes. Since they get all the benefits and bonuses of good business outcomes, opposite should be true as well.
English

@CryptoNewsBob @Electrolight18 @robprogressive They can be held liable. That changed after enron. So there you go. Stop whining.
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive Since they used taxpayer money, then taxpayers should own the company. So any kind of bonuses and profits should go back to us, not the company execs or large shareholders. You want public money, you gotta pay up.
English

@CryptoNewsBob @Electrolight18 @robprogressive Of course and how long do you think it would take to sort out if BAC, Feels Fargo, Citi etc... all went under? So you'd have millions of people with no money, no way to transact globally not to mention all of the employees that would have lost jobs.
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive No, but the CEO and executive officers should be held responsible. I don't run the company, they do.
English

@CryptoNewsBob @Electrolight18 @robprogressive Are you suggesting that if you own apple stock and they do something bad, that you should be responsible?
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive You do realize that FDIC insurance of up to $250,000 is still valid even if the bank goes under right? Looks at 12 C.F.R. 330.3(a-b).
English

@CryptoNewsBob @Electrolight18 @robprogressive When you say it goes to save "them", who is them in your scenario.
What do you think would have happened to people like you if all of the large banks were allowed to go belly up?
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive stripe.com/resources/more… , Look at " what are the benefits of a C-Corp".
English

@CryptoNewsBob @Electrolight18 @robprogressive No Corporations don't get limited liability. And if if they did (which they don't), you cannot limit damages in the event of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive C-Corps and S-corps share the same legal limited liabilities as LLCs. You can just look it up and stop pretending.
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive You don't have to be an LLC to get limited liability. Corporations also have limited liability. They should pay heavily for that via taxes.
English

@CryptoNewsBob @Electrolight18 @robprogressive Those companies are not LLCs by the way. Wrong again.
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive And if they wanted this thing called "Limited Liability" then they should have to pay massive fees(taxes) to have such a thing, otherwise, they should have unlimited liability like the rest of us.
English

@FinTechExec12 @Electrolight18 @robprogressive They should have all been fired and have their fortunes fined/confiscated to pay for creating this mess when it fell apart. They were the ones who got all the benefits when it was going well so they should have to be the ones to pay the price when it goes bad.
